Ryan Howley - Football

Ryan Howley, a senior linebacker on the Massachusetts Maritime football team, has been named as the Buccaneer Male Athlete of the Week for his efforts in the Buccaneers' 20-7 setback to Bridgewater State in the 31st Annual Cranberry Bowl Presented By Ocean Spray last Saturday afternoon at Clean Harbors Stadium.

Howley, a native of New Fairfield, Conn. and a graduate of New Fairfield High School, recorded 14 total tackles, including nine solo and one sack, and recovered a fumble for Massachusetts Maritime in his final collegiate contest.  Ryan earned a spot on the New England Football Conference Defensive Weekly Honor Roll for his efforts.
