Special thanks to all those who attended tonight’s Buccaneer men’s lacrosse match with MIT to celebrate the Class of 2013 and to honor the memory of fallen MIT Police Officer Sean Collier, who was remembered in a pre-game ceremony that featured the presentation of the Academy’s Color Guard as well as the playing of taps by 3/C bugler Cole Habel. 

The Massachusetts Maritime Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, through the efforts of President 2/C Chris Gallagher and Secretary 2/C Melanie Holder, raised a total of $650 in donations that will be made to The Jimmy Fund in Officer Collier’s name.  Cadets Gallagher and Holder collected donations during the match as well as on campus during the past week.
