A shifting breeze greeted the sailors over the November 1-2 weekend at the University of New Hampshire "Underdog Trophy Regatta." The teams faced 8-12 knot winds on Saturday with shifts from 45 to 90 degrees. In the second day of racing on Sunday 180 degree winds shifts greeted the competitors.

Senior George Fleischfresser and junior Kevin Denien sailed the Buccaneers to a third place finish in the A Division race. Sophomores Rob Gallagher (Sandwich, Mass.) and Devin Tetzlaff (Forestdale, Mass.) also locked in a third for the BUcs in the B Division competition assuring MMA of a third overall finish.

The "Underdog Trophy" winner was Bates College, with the University of New Hampshire claiming second place.
