Former Buccaneer Assistant Sailing Coach Kirk Inducted Into Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association Hall Of Fame

Joe Kirk, whose volunteer efforts as an Assistant Sailing Coach at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy made an impact on countless Buccaneer student-athletes, was one of five individuals inducted into the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association's Hall of Fame on June 26th in ceremonies held in Newport, R.I.

Massachusetts Maritime is considered one of the strongest and most active college sailing programs in the nation.  Buccaneer sailors compete in over 50 events annually during the fall and spring seasons on both the men's and women's side under the leadership of Director of Sailing Chuck Fontaine, Head Men's Coach Ian MacLeod and Head Women's Coach Davis Sanford.
