MCLA softball finished their MASCAC season Sunday with a sweep of Massachusetts Maritime by a score of 8-0 in the opener and 8-0 in game two.

Tied 8-8 entering the top of the seventh Lizz Harvey (McConnellsburg, PA) singled to drive in Christina Morris (Eatontown, NJ) with the winning run as Wentworth Institute of Technology (2-26) claimed a 9-8 victory in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against MMA.

In 2007, Christine McCarey began her first year as the head coach for the Buccaneers Softball team. Coach McCarey is also the head women’s soccer coach and Assistant Director of Athletic Recruiting for the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
