Maritime to Hold 9/11 Heroes Run
Massachusetts Maritime Academy will be holding its first 9/11 Heroes Run to honor the heroes of this nation. The run will be on Saturday, September 11th, at 10:30am. It will be held on campus as a 5k ruck, run or walk. The foundation we are partnering with is the Travis Manion Foundation; an incredible organization that focuses on building up communities around the country, guiding our youth, and honoring our nation's heroes. When prompted in the registration process for a Shadow Event, you must select:
Massachusetts Maritime Academy 9/11 Heroes Run.
Registration will close at 11:59 PM on 8/31/2021.
This Event can also be run virtually; if you know anyone that may be interested in this event who cannot attend please send it to them anyway. They can still sign up and support the cause. They will still receive their apparel for participating.
Runners receive a 2021 9/11 Heroes Run t-shirt, commemorative race bib and TMF branded drawstring bag. Ruckers receive a GORUCK/TMF patch, 2021 9/11 Heroes Run t-shirt, bib and TMF branded drawstring bag.
Participants must be vaccinated; approval to participate with a mask will need to be granted for those that are unvaccinated by Academy Doctor, Dr. Cukor.
