Two Minnechaug Regional High School graduates were part of a season-opening win for the Massachusetts Maritime men's lacrosse team last Sunday.

Jake Bickley and Mark Robinson are sophomores at Mass. Maritime, which defeated SUNY-Cobleskill 10-8 at Buzzards Bay.

Bickley, a midfielder, scored a goal with 5:29 remaining in the contest to give Mass. Maritime what seemed a safe 10-4 lead. But SUNY-Cobleskill rallied for four goals in a span of 2 minutes and 26 seconds to make things close.

Robinson is a member of Buccaneers defensive corps. Bickley has already matched his goal output for his freshman season when he appeared in 10 games. Robinson played in seven games last year.

Bickley also serves as a place-kicker for the Mass. Maritime football team. He converted 4 of 5 field goals, and 13 of 15 point after attempts last season.
