BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. --  Freshman Julie Trcka (Shelton, Conn.) registered eight kills to lead Becker to a 3-0 non-league college volleyball victory over Massachusetts Maritime by game scores of 25-19, 25-9 and 25-23 Tuesday evening at the Clean Harbors Athletic Center.

Junior Kelsea Laubenstein (Randolph, Mass.) added 15 set assists in the triumph for the visiting Hawks (3-8), who also received five blocks from freshman Nicole Morse (Alton, N.H.).

Junior Victoria Presutti (Marshfield, Mass.) notched five kills and four digs in the setback for the host Buccaneers (0-10), who also received four kills and four digs from freshman Suzanne Marino (Kings Park, N.Y.) as well as 11 set assists from freshman Leanne Talbot (Norton, Mass.).

Massachusetts Maritime hosts both WPI and Mitchell in a non-league tri-match on Saturday morning at the Clean Harbors Athletic Center that begins at 11:00 a.m., while Becker heads to Worcester, Mass. on Thursday evening to take on Worcester State in a non-league outing that begins at 7:00 p.m.
