BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. – The Massachusetts Maritime Academy Department of Athletics is proud to announce the launch of the 2nd Annual Blue & Gold Challenge, beginning Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

The Blue & Gold Challenge is a month-long crowdfunding initiative that unites student-athletes, coaches, alumni, families, and friends in support of Buccaneer Athletics. Through social media engagement and peer-to-peer fundraising, each varsity program will compete to raise funds that directly enhance the student-athlete experience at Massachusetts Maritime Academy.

This year's Challenge aims to raise $50,000 in support of Buccaneer Athletics. Teams will compete to see which program can raise the most funds per student-athlete, showcasing the pride, teamwork, and tradition that define the Buccaneer community.

All donations—whether made online or delivered in person—must be received by Tuesday, December 2, 2025, to count toward team totals.

The winning teams will be announced on Thursday, December 4, 2025, through MMA Athletics' official social media channels.
