Brody went on to beat two defenders and the keeper slotting his seventh goal home to tie the game at 1-1. The teams remained tied at the half time break.
In the second half, two minutes in, in the 48th minute, Paiva scored his second goal which would be the eventual game winner for the Corsairs. Paive scored again for the hat trick in the 74th minute and added another in the 81st minute, his 11th of the season. Five minutes later, Petrillo scored his fourth of the year to give the Corsairs a 5-1 advantage. Maritime was unable to find the back of the net again and lost their final non-conference game of the season by the same 5-1 final.
