AMHERST, Mass -- Liam Higgins and Tyler Fountain took part in the NEICAAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at UMass Amherst over the weekend. 

Finishing fifth overall, Higgins had a best throw of 58.80 meters to pick up four points in the meet. 

Fountain came in 18th in the event with a best throw of 49.51 meters.

Higgins will travel to Ohio to throw the javelin in the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships in two weeks.
