Geneva, Ohio -- Buccaneer senior Liam Higgins competed in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships for the second consecutive year on Thursday in the javelin event.

Entering the competition, Higgins was ranked fourth in the country in all of Division III, and third in New England. In his event, which ran into the early evening on Thursday in Geneva, Higgins threw three times with a best of 58.55 meters. Finishing five spots better in 2025 than he did in 2024, Higgins earned the title of All-American with his 12th-place finish, as the top 16 competitors in the javelin earn the title.
