Four Bucs Earn LEC All-Conference Honors
PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Little East Conference announced its 2025 Men's Lacrosse All-Conference teams on Wednesday morning with four Bucs earning all-conference honors. Sophomore Attacker Quinn Mucha, and senior defenseman James Cassidy were selected to the first team, specialist Brian Rosher earned second team honors, and Daniel Kane was an All-Conference Honorable Mention.
Quinn Mucha, coming off of his LEC Rookie of the Year bid in 2024, played in 14 games this season for the Buccaneers. He scored 39 goals and tallied 23 assists for a total of 62 points on the season. He also picked up 23 ground balls and caused 11 turnovers on the way to his first team selection.
Quinn's 2025 season was highlighted by his eight points, five goals, and three assists performance in the Buccaneers 32-15 trouncing of Salem State in conference play. He scored a season-high five goals on three occasions against Manhattanville, Southern Maine, and Salem State. He tallied a season-high five assists in the team's conference win over Castleton.
Mucha earned LEC Player of the Week honors on April 28th after scoring eight goals and amassing four assists in the Bucs 1-1 week against Salem and Plymouth.
James Cassidy earns first-team honors for the first time in his career after being named to the LEC second team in 2024. Cassidy has been a lockdown defender for the Buccaneers for the last four seasons, and 2025 was no different. This season, he caused a career-high 18 turnovers and picked up a career-high 39 ground balls as the captain of the defense.
Cassidy earned LEC Defensive Player of the Week honors twice this season. The first time was on March 17th after a 2-0 week for the Bucs in which he caused two turnovers and picked up five ground balls in the team's wins over Manhattanville and Maine Maritime in the Admiral's Cup. The second time was two weeks later when he caused three turnovers and picked up seven ground balls.
Brian Rosher was an honorable mention on the 2024 LEC All-Conference teams, and this season he earned his way onto the second team as a specialist. The Buccaneers faceoff man won 201 of 319 (65%) faceoffs he took in 12 games this season with 104 ground balls. Against Castleton, he went a perfect 17 for 17 in the Bucs 19-6 win over the Spartans. Rosher tallied an assist on the season in the team's 21-11 win over Manhattanville and netted a FOGO goal in the team's 14-11 playoff loss to Keene State.
In his career, Brian won an astounding 814 faceoffs for the Bucs with a 59% faceoff win percentage in four years. He notched eight goals and eight assists in his career and picked up 442 ground balls.
Dan Kane was a second-teamer in the conference in 2024, and this season makes his way onto the awards sheet as an honorable mention. Kane played in 16 games this season and scored 30 goals with 31 assists to go along. He picked up a career-high 36 ground balls in 2025 and caused a career-high six turnovers.
