BRIDGEWATER, Mass -- Women's Lacrosse faced off against a tough Bridgewater State quad on Tuesday night to open the final week of the regular season. The Bears pressed on the gar early and didn't let off, beating the Buccaneers 17-1.

Maritime

  • Allie Dickinson scored Maritime's lone goal. 
  • Lindsy Durgin recorded an assist on the goal.
  • Caleigh Tompkins picked up a team-high four ground balls. 
  • Brady Deschamps won a team-high three draw controls.

  • Meredith Sylvia scored a game-high five goals. Camryn Gonzalves scored four times, and Bailey Kelly scored three. Katy Shaw scored two goals, and Katie Lamothe, Savannah Herrington, and Riley Bine scored one.
  • Lamothe, Herrington, and Gonsalves had two assists each. Kaylei Joseph, Sylvia, and Lizzy Deacon had one helper apiece.
  • Sylvia led the way in ground balls for the Bears with five.
  • Herrington won a game-high seven draw controls.
  • Defensively, Maya Dupuy caused four turnovers.
  • In total, Bridgewater picked up 24 ground balls, converted 17 of 20 clearances, won 15 draw controls, and took 35 shots in the game.
