The impending weekend storm has forced the postponement of two scheduled Massachusetts Maritime athletic events that were to take place Friday and Saturday, September 3^rd and 4^th.

The Buccaneer men’s soccer match at Coast Guard, which was to have been played Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. in New London, Conn., has been postponed and re-scheduled for Tuesday, September 28^th at 6:00 p.m. on the Coast Guard campus.

The Buccaneer women’s soccer team’s season opening match with Newbury, which was to have been played on Saturday afternoon at Clean Harbors Stadium beginning at Noon, has been postponed and re-scheduled for Thursday, September 16^th at Clean Harbors Stadium beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The Buccaneer volleyball team’s three matches at the two-day Elms Blazer Invitational in Chicopee, Mass. WILL BE PLAYED as scheduled, with Massachusetts Maritime taking on SUNY-Cobleskill and Husson on Friday afternoon beginning at 4:00 p.m.
