Junior corner back Kevin McCarthy saw action in seven games in 2007 with the Buccaneers. He was credited with 14 tackles and two pass break-ups. He also returned five kicks for 136 yards and twice ran in the extra point for the Bucs. He received all-star honorable mention recognition twice as a player at Tewksbury (MA) High School and was recognized for his defense and work on special teams. He is a volunteer with the Special Olympics and enjoys watching his favorite professional sports team, the New England Patriots.
