Massachusetts Maritime To Host NFL High School Player Development Camp

Massachusetts Maritime Head Football Coach Jeremy Cameron and his staff will host a NFL High School Player Development Camp from Sunday, May 31 through Wednesday, June 3rd on the Academy campus. The daily sessions will run from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Students entering their freshmen, sophomore, junior or senior years are eligible. Campers must supply their own helmets and shoulder pads. There is no cost to attend the camp and it it limited to the first 150 participants.

Sponsored by the National Football League, the High School Player Development camp (HSPD) provides incoming high school freshmen through seniors a program that focuses on character development and specific football skill training by position. Through HSPD, each participant will gain full awareness of what is necessary to become a successful collegiate student-athlete.

The program consists of two elements - character development and on-field training.

Interested parties should contact Coach Cameron at (508) 830-5072 or via e-mail at jcameron@maritime.edu.
