Thirteen Buccaneers Earn Spots On 2009-10 New England Football Conference All-Academic Team

Buzzards Bay, Mass. -- Thirteen members of the Massachusetts Maritime football team have been honored for their work in the classroom with selection to the 2009-10 New England Football Conference All-Academic Team that was announced by Roger Crosley, Director of Media Relations for the NEFC.
A total of 254 student-athletes from the conference's 16 member institutions are represented on this year's squad, as in order to qualify for All-Academic honors a player must have completed three semesters at the same institution with a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or better based on a 4.00 scale.
"We take great pride at the Academy in the balanced accomplishments of our student-athletes both on the field of play and in the classroom," Massachusetts Maritime Director of Athletics Bob Corradi said of his group. "I want to congratulate each of these young men on this tremendous honor."
