Bill is a veteran of four years with the Sandwich (MA) High School Blue Knights football team. In his senior season he was a team captain and was selected as the Lineman of the Year. Bill also played lacrosse for two years. His father (William Hafferty), a 1981 MMA graduate, was an offensive lineman for the Buccaneers for four years. Bill's favorite food is steak tips and his favorite professional sports team is the New England Patriots.
