A veteran of football, basketball and track at Marshfield High School, Russ Metcalfe twice earned Sportsmanship Awards for his work on the gridiron. He was also the recipient of a Coach's Award and both Player of the Week and Player of the Game Awards. An honor roll student, he volunteers with the Boys and Girls Club. He plays the piano and guitar and enjoys playing whiffleball. His favorite team is the Ohio State Buckeyes.
