Members of the Massachusetts Maritime football team took time for pre-season preparations on Tuesday morning to welcome area youngsters to Clean Harbors Stadium as part of the “Books Around Bourne” program at the Jonathan Bourne Public Library.

The 2011 edition of the Buccaneers, along with Head Coach Jeremy Cameron and his staff, engaged in a football themed story time with the group and also set up a series of games with the children on the Clean Harbors Stadium turf.

“Our players and staff really enjoyed hosting the “Books Around Bourne” program,” Cameron said of the event.  “It was a great opportunity for our players to both interact and give back to a community that has been very supportive of our program and the Academy.”
