The Buccaneers fell to John Jay College in rifle competition October 11 by a score of 4341-3863. Michael Surette (Lynn, Mass.) led MMA in both the smallbore and air categories. Surette finished third overall in smallbore with 526 points and fourth overall in air with 534 points.

Kevin Geisel (Gloucester, Mass.) was right behind Surette compiling 513 points in smallbore and 519 in the air rifle competition.
