Busy October Weekend for MMA Sailors

Massachusetts Maritime hosted the Underdog Trophy October 27-28 with the Buccaneers sailing to a fifth place finish.

Maine Maritime Academy was the regatta winner. For the Bucs, Clinton Young and Parker Pouser sailed to a fourth place finish in the A Division race followed by a sixth place finish in the B Division by Jimmy Sjolund and Kevin Denien.

At the same time MMA was on the water at the N.E. Frosh Champs Nickerson Trophy Regatta hosted by Boston College. The Bucs sailed to a 12th place finish with Rob Gallagher and Devin Tetzlaff finishing 12th in the A Division and Kevin Murphy, Dan Marshall, Alison Dombrowski and Brandon Thonus taking 12th in the B Division.
