Patrick played ice hockey, football, and was a member of his high school sailing team. In his junior year at Quincy (MA) High School he received the "Scholastic Athlete Award." In his senior season his sailing team won the state championship and he was selected for their "Unsung Hero Award." He is an honor roll student and has received recognition as "Most Improved Student" and was the recipient of the National Greek Exam Award.  He volunteers at his local homeless shelter and enjoys boating and ice hockey. His favorite professional sports teams are the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
