WESTIFLED, Mass -- Bucs softball played on the road Saturday against Westfield State in the first conference doubleheader of the season for both teams. A strong Bucs team was met by a slightly stronger Owls squad as Westfield swept the day, 9-1 and 13-5.

• Reagan Kerecz and Kelsey Booker had two hits, the only four hits in the game for the Bucs.
• Booker hit a solo home run driving in the only run of the game.

• Sarah Hough Hannah Wodecki, and Sarah Bingham had two hits. Six other owls recorded a hit in the win.
• Wodecki drove in three runs in the game. Bingham and Abby Clark drove in two runs. 
• Katelyn Baker and Hough scored twice. Five other Westfield base runners scored once.

• Latour had a grand slam, Mia Alfonso added a home run, Christina Ciampa recorded a triple, and Hough and Camacho had doubles.
• Katelyn Baker had the only stolen base in the game.
