BUZZARDS BAY, Mass -- The Bucs softball team played Fisher College on Tuesday in the annual meeting between the two teams. The Bucs, coming in at 4-2 on the season, got two more wins over a rebuilding Fisher squad with 31-1, and 35-0 wins. The story in Tuesday's games was sophomore pitcher Ashleigh Catlett who not only struck out a career-high 15 hitters but only faced 15 hitters and threw the first perfect game in Massachusetts Maritime Academy Softball History.

• Sarah Holler went 5-for-5 in the game and Klemp was perfect at the plate going 4-for-4. Reagan Kerecz and Hannah Burton each had three hits in the game. Natalie Gale and Eva Warren had two hits each and Ryan McDonald, Makynzi Sprague, and Finley Hire all had a hit. It was the first career hits for McDonald and Hire.
• 13 different Maritime hitters drove in runs in the win
• 14 Different Bucs came in to score in the game.
• Kerecz and Warren both had a double, the only two extra-base hits for the Bucs. 
• Kerecz also stole a base, the only one in the game.

Fisher

• Yuliia Sokolova had the only hit in the game for the Falcons.
• Sofia Campos reached on an error and Detres was hit by a pitch.

• Camryn Whitman and Ryan McDonald led the Bucs with four hits in the game. 
• Catlett, Erin Donlan, and Finley Hire all had three hits in the win.
• Kelsey Bookey, Ab'c'de Patane, and Molli Lassotovich all had two hits games.
• Patane made a splash in her first game back in 2025 with a home run and a double. Whitman, Booker, and Hire all had doubles as well. 
• McDonald drove in six runs to lead the Bucs. Four others drove in four runs each.
• 13 players scored for the Bucs, with five of them scoring four times. 
• Whitman had the lone stolen base in the game. 

Fisher

• The Falcons sent 15 hitters to the plate in the game and all 15 were struck out by Catlett on her way to a perfect game.
