BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. — Massachusetts Maritime sophomore center fielder Nate Kaczynski earned 2026 All-Region II First Team honors from both the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings and D3baseball.com, the organizations announced Tuesday.

A transfer from Moorpark College of the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA), Kaczynski made an immediate impact in his first season with the Buccaneers in 2026, excelling both offensively and defensively.

At the plate, Kaczynski batted .485 with a team-leading eight home runs, eight doubles, and two triples while driving in 34 runs and scoring 43. He also posted a .570 on-base percentage and a .758 slugging percentage. His performance earned him MASCAC Player of the Year honors and a spot on the All-MASCAC First Team.

Defensively, Kaczynski recorded a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, committing no errors in 95 total chances. He totaled 88 putouts and seven outfield assists, including five throws that cut down runners at home plate.

Kaczynski's selection to the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region II First Team also qualifies him for All-America consideration.
